La Liga: Weekend round up

A late Sergio Ramos header stole a point for Real Madrid in Saturday's El Clasico as they drew 1-1 with Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

The visitors shaded the goalless opening period as Luis Enrique's men failed to find their groove, but they made the breakthrough in the 53rd minute as Luis Suarez headed home from a Neymar free-kick.

Barca had a number of chances to add more to their tally throughout the second half, but were punished on the stroke of full time, as Ramos met a Luka Modric free-kick to see the points shared in the clash of the La Liga titans.

Pablo Fornals' injury-time equaliser kept the relegation heat on Valencia as Malaga rescued a 2-2 draw at the Mestalla.

Midfielder Fornals scored late after Rodrigo Valencia and Alvaro Medran looked to have given the hosts a much-needed victory.

Fornals also opened the scoring and his second goal meant Valencia are two points above the La Liga relegation zone after six league games without a win while Malaga remain in mid-table.

Etxebarria Benat, Inaki Williams and Iker Muniain scored as Athletic Bilbao beat Eibar 3-1 to keep in touch with the top five.

Sergi Enrich notched a second-half consolation for Eibar, who lost their three-match winning run, as Athletic secured a seventh victory of the season. They are seventh, two points behind the top five, with Eibar a place behind.

Sporting Gijon climbed out of La Liga's relegation zone with their first win in three months as they condemned rock bottom Osasuna to a 3-1 defeat.

Carlos Carmona's double and Pereira Douglas gave the hosts their first victory since September, ending an 11-game winless run.

Miguel Flano scored a late consolation for the visitors, but Osasuna have won just once in the league this season and have now lost their last five games in all competitions and remain at the foot of the table.

Earlier in the day, Facundo Roncaglia's late goal rescued a 3-3 draw for Celta Vigo at Real Betis to leave them ninth, two points off the top five.

German Pezzella had given Betis a 3-2 lead 12 minutes before, but both sides had to settle for a point with Betis 14th, five points above the relegation zone.

Iago Aspas scored twice for Celta to make it 12 goals for club and country this season, while Antonio Sanabria and Ruben Castro also netted for the hosts.

Betis ended the game with 10 men after Petros was sent off for a second yellow card in injury time.

Alaves missed out on a first home win since September as they drew 1-1 with Las Palmas at the Estadio Mendizorroza.

Alexis opened the scoring in the fourth minute, but Las Palmas, who had previously taken only four points from six away games, levelled in the 57th minute through Marko Livaja.

Diego Simeone Athletico Madrid were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw to Espanyol at Vicente Calderon.

Both teams created numerous chances but to their dismay none of them were able to hit the target as both teams settled for a point apiece.

Sevilla suffered a shocking defeat at Granada

Andreas Pereira Opened the scoring for the host with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal. Lombán doubled the advantage in the 56th minutes to give the host a edge over the visitors.

Wissam Ben Yedder gave the visitors a consolation goal as he converts from the spot in some minutes to the end of the game.
